Dorothy Thelma Meinert also known as Dee Resident of Livermore Dorothy passed away peacefully at her home in Livermore, CA, she was 92. Dorothy was born on March 6,1920 in San Francisco, Graduated from Sonoma Valley High School Was preceded in death by her Daughter Marsha Marlene Thurman and her Husband of 52 years Harold Frank Meinert. Dorothy worked at the Worlds Fair on Treasure Island, in the 40's And at the FMC plant in Fremont, CA., then moved to Silver Springs, Nevada where she worked at the Nevada Cement company. Then returned to California where she lived in Santa Cruz for many years. While in Santa Cruz for a few years she was the President of the Golden State Mobile Home Assoc. She is survived by her son Mel Meinert and daughter-in -law Nola Meinert. Her six grand children; Steven Thurman, Dennis Thurman, Donna Martines, Jim Thurman, Bob Meinert, Cheri Stephens. She had eighteen gr-eat grandchildren and Three great-great grandchildren. As per her wishes there will be No Services She will be interned next to her Husband and Daughter at Santa Cruz Memorial Ocean Street Santa Cruz.
